Hi Happy Stampers! I love fun fold cards and giving them to well, everyone. I like the Double Z fun fold, it’s like giving a card in a card. Today I’m posting the birthday card I gave to my sister earlier this month. I waited to post to ensure she received the card since we live in different states. My sister’s favorite color is purple…not just purple, but any shade of purple. So what could be better than Perennial Lavender DSP, Highland Heather CS and Gorgeous Grape CS – the perfect color blend for a purple lover! 🙂

This card makes you think it’s a complicated card to make, but it’s not. It’s actually one of the easier fun fold cards to create. Here’s what you need to create this card:
- Stamps – Painted Lavender; Unbounded Love (get an extra 10% off in June for this bundle); Heartfelt Hexagon; (I used the Big Hugs stamp from the retired Perennial Postage stamp set)
- Dies – Stylish Shapes
- Inks – Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, and Lost Lagoon (stamped off)
- Paper:
- Highland Heather – cut 4-1/4″ x 11″ card base, score at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″
- Gorgeous Grape – cut 3″ x 9″ Z fold piece, score at 3″ and 6″
- Perennial Lavender DSP – 1 piece: 4″ x 5-1/4″; 2 pieces (coordinating) 2-1/2″ x 4″; 3 pieces (coordinating) 2-3/4″ square
- Basic White – Die cut 3 pieces using the 2nd largest square die (approximately 2-1/4″)
- Other – Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (10% off in June), Paper Butterfly Accents, Brushed Brass Butterflies, multiliquid glue, mini glue dots, sponge daubers or small blending brushes
