Father’s Day Interlocking Z-Fold Card

I can’t believe it’s been 10 months since I’ve posted on my blog. Between life and posting on facebook, I have totally neglected my blog.

I made this sweet card for my husband for Father’s Day. Our kids live out of state, so he only gets me in person. Even though he spoke with them on Father’s Day I know it’s just not the same as seeing them. I made this card using the Waterside Retreat Suite Collection, Arched Dies, Lost Lagoon and Basic White cardstock, and a few iridescent pearls for that little something extra. All of these supplies may be found on my Stampin’ Up! website

I love this fun fold, it’s one of my favorite go-to’s. It looks complicated, but it’s not. If anyone would like directions on how to recreate this card, please let me know. It’s a great suite for any masculine card.

I promise you won’t have to wait so long for my next post. Happy Stamping! Donna

Multi-purpose Multi-pillar Card

Hi everyone!!! I know, I know, it’s been like forever since I have posted. I’ve mostly been posting on my Donna’s Love at First Stamp Facebook page. I thought I’d better make it over to my blog before I lose all of my followers.

Anyways, enough of that…on to the important stuff. 😊 I made a card yesterday for my cousin. She retired from her job on 1 July and yesterday (12 July) was her birthday. She had a combo Happy Retirement and Happy Birthday party. Since I delivered this card in person I decided to “enlarge” it. Boy did I! It’s 5″ x 7″, but it is thick, thick, thick!! I didn’t add any extra gems, which is really surprising for me…I love my gems. 💎 The gold in the card adds enough umph to the card, without needing to add more.

I truly hope you enjoy it. If you would like the measurements, please let me know.

I used the following Stampin’ Up! supplies:

Wildflower Birthday DSP, #164591; Birthday Celebration Photopolymer Stamp Set, #164592; Birthday Celebration Dies, #164598; Everyday Arches Dies, #164629; Pool Party CS, #122924; Blueberry Buchel Classic Stampin’ Pad, #147148; and retired stamp sets – Gone Fishing, #161535 and Happy Birthday Gorgeous, #143662.

I loved creating this card! I flew by the seat of my pants on a few of the measurements, but in the end I think it worked out beautifully. My cousin really liked it and that is what mattered the most ❤️

Happy Stamping Everyone!!! 💕 Donna

Softly Stippled Belt & Buckle Fun Fold Card

I learned a new fun fold today from a U-tube video by Kristina Rees. So of course, I had to CASE it. Today’s card is made with a free Sale-a-bration product – Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper. I love this paper! It’s pretty, in soft mellow shades of Calypso Coral, Pebbled Path, Lost, Lagoon, Pool Party, and Wild Wheat. There is a coordinating bundle (Stippled Roses) in the latest mini catalog as well.

I chose to use pebbled path as my primary color choise since this is a sympathy card. I sponge daubered Lost Lagoon on the leaves and Moody Mauve on the roses. The punch, the stamped image on the hexagon and the front card sentiment are from the Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle, page 12 of the MC. The interior sentiments are from the So Sincere and Layering Leaves stamp sets.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card. Please let me know if you would like cutting directions/demensions for this card. I’ll happily post them. Happy Stamping! Donna
