Dutch Door Take Two

Hi everyone! It’s a lovely, sleet and snow filled day here in Bellbrook, Ohio. Hope you are all well and finding time to stamp or craft.

I love creating fun and fancy fold cards. Lately, I am addicted to the Dutch Door fun fold technique. Here is a sweet card I made for a family member’s birthday. She loved it! I made this card using the now retired Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Tomorrow cling stamp set and coordinating designer series paper (DSP), Blackberry Beauty. I am a bit sad this stamp set/DSP was retired, I think it is so pretty and versatile! I stepped up this card with some gold embossing, a few mini rhinestones (#144220, AC p.142) , and a bit of gold ribbon. I used simmery white cardstock (#101910, AC p.136) for the card base and a Basic White medium envelope (#159236, AC p.136). I dressed the envelope with DSP on the envelope flap to give the whole package a little extra flare.

If there are any fun or fancy card techniques you would like me to demonstrate, please let me know. Happy Stamping! Donna

Blackberry Suite Awesome for Fall Cards

I used the Blackberry Beauty Suite to create this beautiful Z-fold card. Creating this card was time consuming, but the final product was awesome! If you like fancy folds, using DSP and embossing folders – this is the card for you! In addition to using the Blackberry Beauty Suite, mini- catalog p 44-45, #156278, I used the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, mini-catalog p 55, 156505, and stamps from the Elegantly Said Cling Stamp Set, #155095, AC p69 and the Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set, #151595, AC p24.

Simple Stamping Sunday – Oval Occasions So Lucky to Know You Birthday Card

Today is simple stamping Sunday. Each Sunday I will feature a simple card to stamp or adorn. The Oval Occasions Stamp Set and Double Oval Punch Bundle is so versatile! The stamps in this cling set are absolutely adorable! This week’s card uses a fancy folded Designer Series Paper (DSP) and oval punches. I used a DSP from Sale-a-Bration that is no longer available. However, the Ornate Garden DSP, 152488, $15.00 would be a great alternative DSP! Please enjoy today’s card! If you would like instructions or have questions, please leave a comment or send me an email. Happy Stamping!
