This new Garden Walk Designers Series Paper is so pretty! It is patterned on both sides making it even more versatile. I can’t wait to use it to create a few Christmas cardswith the poinsettia paper! The card today is a card to express gratitude. We all need more gratitude and thankfulness in our lifes. I think this card expresses those thoughts in a delightful way.

I took a more monotone approach with this card by making the gates the same color of Pretty Peacock as I did the card base. On my previous post the gates in the card were a contrasting color. I really wanted the DSP to be ths star on this card. The Garden Walk suite collection may be found in the current mini catalog and in my online store.

Card Dimentions / Measurements:

  • Pretty Peacock Cardstock – Cut card base 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score at 2-1/2″ and 6-3/8″; Gates – Cut (2) – 2-1/2″ x 4″
  • Basic Wite – Cut 4″ x 5-1/4″ for inside of card: Use the Modern Oval punch for sentiment layer
  • Stripe Pattern DSP – Cut (2) – 2″ x 5-1/4″
  • Floral Pattern DSP – Cut (2) – 2-1/4″ x 3-3/4″
  • Envelope Flap – Optional – Cut 2-1/2″ x 6″ (I stamped the envelope flap on this particular card)

Do you love fun fold cards? I love everything about them. I love to make them, I love to give them, and I love to receive them. What could be better than a simple fun fold that looks difficult to make, but is really super easy! I made this cute birthday card today using the new Garden Walk Suite Collection.

Fun, easy, quick fun fold. Twenty minutes is all you need to whip this sweet card up. I added a little bling and a bow to spice it up a bit…ready to go. Of course I added DSP to the envelope flap too.

Here are my cutting measurements if you would like to create this card too:

  • Winter Wheat Cardstock – Cut 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, Score at 2-1/8″ and 6-3/8″
  • Poppy Parade Cardstock – Cut 2 – 2-1/2″ x 4″
  • Very Vanilla – 4″ x 5-1/4″ for inside of card; Use punch for sentiment layer
  • Stripe pattern DSP – Cut 2 – 2″ X” 5-1/4″
  • Winter Wheat/Poppy Parade Floral DSP – Cut 2 – 2-1/4” x 3-3/4″ &
  • Envelope Flap (I used the Floral DSP) -2-1/2″ x 6″
