The layout of my card today was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketch’s Challenge for the layout. I love to make cards using only one or two colors to give a cohesive monochromatic look. In this card I used Night of Navy and Gray Granite as my base colors and added the slightes pop of Evening Evergreen as an accent. On the card base I stamped in craft white ink and embossed over it with clear embossing powder. I wanted to create a soft effect to tie in the gray granite Sun Prints DSP. I love the angled edge of the DSP and the offset sentiment! I put a Night of Navy angled edge mat under the DSP that I cropped using the basic borders dies to give the card anther element of interest. Here is the sketch layout that inspired my card:
