Softly Stippled Belt & Buckle Fun Fold Card

I learned a new fun fold today from a U-tube video by Kristina Rees. So of course, I had to CASE it. Today’s card is made with a free Sale-a-bration product – Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper. I love this paper! It’s pretty, in soft mellow shades of Calypso Coral, Pebbled Path, Lost, Lagoon, Pool Party, and Wild Wheat. There is a coordinating bundle (Stippled Roses) in the latest mini catalog as well.

I chose to use pebbled path as my primary color choise since this is a sympathy card. I sponge daubered Lost Lagoon on the leaves and Moody Mauve on the roses. The punch, the stamped image on the hexagon and the front card sentiment are from the Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle, page 12 of the MC. The interior sentiments are from the So Sincere and Layering Leaves stamp sets.

There is so much going on at Stampin’ Up! right now. A brand new mini catalog (MC) went live on January 4th, along with Sale-a-bration. If you haven’t received a catalog check out my links on the right side. There are so many new cool stamp sides, dies, designer series papers, you will want to buy everything!

The Trusty Tools bundle in the MC is so cute! The best thing, there is coordinating Trusty Toolbox DSP in the Sale-a-bration catalog! I used Trusty Tools everything to create a pop-up gate card for a friend’s birthday. I love the colors and the dies are too cute!

I have so many products on order right now, I’m anxiously waiting to get my boxes of goodies. I’ll keep you all posted because I will be in a stamping frenzy once they all arrive. 🙂 If you would like an instruction pdf for the card above, please let me know.

Beary Cute Faux Side-Step Christmas Card

Hi Everyone! I am not very good with live streaming, but I did one on Facebook yesterday demonstrating my first Christmas Cards of the season. My first card was this cute, cute, cute Beary Cute card. Love this suite!

If you’ve ever made a regular side stepper card, you know getting the cuts just right can be a challenge. This Faux Side-Step card takes that stress away! I love how easy it is to make this card. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite fun folds to make. 🙂

Cutting Deminsions:

  • Balmy Blue Cardstock:
    • Cut 1 – 5-1/2″ x 8″; Score at 3, 6 & 7″
    • Cut 1 – 3″ x 6″; Score at 1-3/4″
  • DSP:
    • Cut 1 – 2-3/4 X 5-1/4″
    • Cut 1 – 3/4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Scrap CS – For Sentiment on Card Front
  • CS – Cut 1 – 2-3/4 x 5-1/4″ – Optional for Back of Card

Birthday Bookbinder Easel Card

If you like fun fold cards, but are afraid they are too difficult to make…then I have the card for you. The bookbinder easel card is SO easy to make, you will love the results the first time making it. I made this card for my sister-in-law’s birthday. I used some retired Dainty Flowers DSP and a combination of Stampin’ Up! products. I love using and thinking of various out of the box ways to use multiple products. I hope I give you new ideas of how to use your products as well.

Inked Botanicals Flip Top Fun Fold Get Well Card

Happy July 5th! Today I am sharing a get well card I recently gave to a friend. I used the very lovely Inked Botanicals Suite from Stampin’ Up! This suite is beautiful! The colors are Summery, fun and happy. It’s also a flip top fun fold! I paired it with Something Fancy dies to make the cute tag. Sentiments in the card are from the Layering Leaves and Hope & Prayer stamps sets from the current catty. I also used the wishing you a speedy recovery from the now retired Speedy Recovery Stamp set.
